When Gaston Baudelio in the 28th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Severo Jakes kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Teobaldo Panpili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cirilo Efren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Efren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Gauargi in the 40th minute of play. If Leandro Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Gauargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After a rather tough play, Sarmiento AFC's Ricardo Remicio got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Genaro Gauargi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sumalao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Gauargi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Efren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobaldo Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Egun kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Sarmiento AFC's Cirilo Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Panpili in the 80th minute of play. Marciano Abad hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sarmiento AFC booed when Sumalao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Jacindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Teobaldo Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Efren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
