Andacollo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Fiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Andacollo fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Andacollo's Enzo Fiz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 41 minutes of play, Andacollo's Patricio Bide made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Valerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Bide to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lagunilla's Isidoro Guerau got a free kick in the 74th minute. Patricio Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Valerio having to interfere. Severino Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Feliberto Martino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Andacollo's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Niva came free, but Feliberto Martino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Andacollo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
