Nicolas Salomone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Tabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Tabor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nicolas Salomone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Casas FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Felipillo. Arsenio Navarro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolas Salomone. Casas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Arnalt struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Alberto Cheche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casas FC. Cienaguita's Leopoldo Tabor got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saul Bartoleme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nicolas Salomone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Cheche having to interfere. Nicolas Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Tabor in the 29th minute of play. If Saul Bartoleme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cienaguita's Alberto Cheche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Rio in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cienaguita's zone, Leon Rio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Cheche came out of the goal and Leon Rio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Daniel Arnalt made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Cheche. Cienaguita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Bartoleme was the one to do the kick off. Leopoldo Tabor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Nicolas Salomone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Arnalt in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Cheche saved Cienaguita from getting behind. In the 68th minute Leon Rio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Arnalt in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Leon Rio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Cheche was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Leon Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Casas FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Salomone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saul Bartoleme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Cheche having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Casas FC's Leon Rio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Cheche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 98th minute Daniel Arnalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cienaguita players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Casas FC.
