In the 47th minute, Teo Abaunza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teo Abaunza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Teo Abaunza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valentin Udalaitz. That made the score 0-1 in the 52 minute of play. Emiliano Bortzaioriz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Inguma's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Valentin Udalaitz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nestor Formerio. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Emma AFC's Teo Abaunza in the 69th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Valentin Udalaitz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Cienaguillas through an amazing save. Emiliano Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Inguma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 74 minutes on the clock, Ulises Maties commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Emma AFC! If Armando Inguma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Emma AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Inguma came free, but Emiliano Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Damian Marin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Emma AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Marin couldn't finish the play.
