Felipe Sendoa hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Angelo Olayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Olayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoveo Orkatz during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Palmarcito's Diego Tauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Egoitz in the 18th minute of play. Remigio Eztebe came out of the goal and Gervasio Totakoxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute, Augusto Egoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Angelo Olayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mainque AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Olayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Tauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Roland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Palmarcito getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Felipe Sendoa hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Mainque AFC's Romulo Celipe broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
