After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Zeledon Gaspard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magdala's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Gaspard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Ignatius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Pavón FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Micael. In the 33rd minute, Jesus Ikatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pavón FC's Mauricio Gaizkine got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauricio Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Efrain Montxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antonio Gar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Gaizkines short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Efrain Montxo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Gar to strike the kick off in the second half. When Mauricio Gaizkine came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Pavón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Gaizkine couldn't finish the play. Efrain Montxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Gaizkine in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Pavón FC's Antonio Gar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efrain Montxo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Zeledon Gaspard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magdala's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Gaspard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Ignatius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Gar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Cordaro in the 63rd minute of play forced Pavón FC's goalkeeper Atilano Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Magdala's zone, Mauricio Gaizkine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Montxo came out of the goal and Mauricio Gaizkine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Mauricio Gaizkine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Antonio Gar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Gaspard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Ignatius having to make a save. After 75 minutes of play Pavón FC's Ramon Micael was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Pavón FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ramon Micael hit a great ball. In the 76th minute of the match Celestino Opilano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atilano Ignatius skillfully saved the ball. Zeledon Gaspard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Atilano Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Efrain Montxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mauricio Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Mauricio Gaizkine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pavón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Gaizkine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godofredo Tipi struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Atilano Ignatius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magdala. After 95 minutes, Mauricio Gaizkine made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Magdala's Efrain Montxo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
