Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Enrique Chico kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Cabalonga AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Boni. Arturo Edwardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Berbiz's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes Miraflores AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Cordearo. Fidel Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Arturo Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Nerio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Arturo Edwardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. During the 10th minute of the match Amado Cordearo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Amado Cordearo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 10th minute, Amado Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Egun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Ler having to interfere. When Miraflores AFC's Damian Egun in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cabalonga AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th match minute, Miraflores AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Fidel Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Edwardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Cordaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miraflores AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabalonga AFC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Miraflores AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Moises Aimar shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Fidel Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Serafino Nerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabalonga AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Nerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Patricio Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th match minute, Miraflores AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Aresti to maneuver through the defense. Cabalonga AFC's Moises Aimar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Miraflores AFC. Arturo Edwardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Balasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th play minute Serafino Nerio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arturo Edwardo. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Berbiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Fidel Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Edwardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernan Balasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Arturo Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Fidel Berbiz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Miraflores AFC's Arturo Edwardo. Arturo Edwardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arturo Edwardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Berbiz in the 68th minute of play. Miraflores AFC's Damian Egun got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Egun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Ler having to interfere. Damian Egun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mario Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Damian Egun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Mario Ler managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Miraflores AFC's Damian Egun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Damian Egun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cabalonga AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
