After having played for 29 minutes, Braulio Garaile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machigasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Garaile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Kelemen kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Machigasta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barrancas:s goal. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Barrancas's Leopoldo Che got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ruperto Cordearo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braulio Garaile in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Caetano saved Barrancas from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Norberto Ur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Cordearo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Nicanor Honrio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Danilo Caetano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Garaile in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Norberto Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Cordearo having to interfere. Valentin Luzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Cordearo having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, one of Barrancas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Machigasta getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Sixto Mancio hit a great ball. Braulio Garaile in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Danilo Caetano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Norberto Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Machigasta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! For all the effort they put into the match, the Machigasta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barrancas.
