In the 3rd match minute, Garayalde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Quinton to maneuver through the defense. When Remigio Llorienzo came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Garayalde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Llorienzo couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, Remigio Llorienzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Daniel Quintyn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Llorienzo in the 15th minute of play. Daniel Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Karmel in the 17th minute of the match. When Victorio Atarrabi fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sevigné FC's protests and gave Victorio Atarrabi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sevigné FC's Victorio Atarrabi got a free kick in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Ugaitz got free with Justo Bertran in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remigio Llorienzo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Daniel Quintyn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garayalde. Garayalde's Justo Bertran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Garayalde from getting a goal against them. If Jonas Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Karmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Quintyn having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Karmel to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfredo Beltxe in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justo Bertran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximo Karmel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Daniel Quintyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Beltxe might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justo Bertran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Beltxe ran back to his position shaking his head. Garayalde's Remigio Llorienzo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Raymundo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Daniel Quintyn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Karmel's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Karmel in the 73rd minute of play forced Sevigné FC's goalkeeper Daniel Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Llorienzo got free with Daniel Quintyn in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enzo Felipillo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Beltxe in the 87th minute of play forced Garayalde's goalkeeper Justo Bertran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Jonas Ugaitz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Garayalde's Justo Bertran. Justo Bertran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Godfredo Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
