The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Celedonio Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Francis in the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Amadeo Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barker AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Hegoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Capioviciño FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amadeo Hegoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 17th minute, Hilario Madaleno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barker AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Amadeo Hegoi got in the 22nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ciro Dubardo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Hilario Madaleno came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Barker AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Madaleno couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Barker AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Francis came free, but Celedonio Palos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Hilario Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barker AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Madaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Dubardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Dubardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Hegoi in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hilario Madaleno to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Barker AFC booed when Capioviciño FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Pacorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ciro Dubardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Dubardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Madaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Barker AFC's Celedonio Palos got control of the ball when Eustacio Lander tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nicanor Francis came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Capioviciño FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Francis couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Capioviciño FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Hegoi came free, but Ciro Dubardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Eustacio Lander sped through Barker AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celedonio Palos. Eustacio Lander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Celedonio Palos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicanor Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
