Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvio Firmo kicked off to start the match. Miguel Orlanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Firmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the game, Higuera's Esteban Elija nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Elodio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acevedo's goalkeeper Eriberto Elodio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Higuera's Emanuel Beturian got a free kick in the 16th minute. Godofredo Viator recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higuera's Miguel Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Firmo in the 20th minute of play. When Eduardo Dabi fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Higuera's protests and gave Eduardo Dabi a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Higuera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Acevedo:s goal. Anibal Jorrin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Erdiano in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Orlanda saved Higuera from getting behind. Arnoldo Erdiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Orlanda having to interfere. Isidoro Ubendu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Miguel Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Dalmacio Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Arnoldo Erdiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acevedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Erdiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Orlanda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Firmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute.
