Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bajada FC's Justino Ospetsu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Esteban Elija sped through Bajada FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaston Luix. Esteve Iratxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Esteban Elija managed to get in a good position for a shot. Higuera's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Elija was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Luix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Bajada FC's goalkeeper Gaston Luix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Elija. A collision led to Bajada FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Raimundo Mundo hit a great ball. Bajada FC's Gaston Luix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Bajada FC from getting a goal against them. Gaston Luix made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Esteban Elija sent off a good shot on target. Esteban Elija in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaston Luix, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 28th minute, Higuera's Godofredo Viator dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godofredo Viator made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Bajada FC's Justino Ospetsu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Orlanda. That made the score 2-1 after 58 minutes of play. Emanuel Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Luix having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bajada FC's zone, Godofredo Viator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Luix came out of the goal and Godofredo Viator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bajada FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Raimundo Mundo hit a great ball. Miguel Orlanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Ospetsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godofredo Viator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Esteban Elija got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st match minute, Bajada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Orlanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Ospetsu in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Higuera had won after a very even match.
