Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Filiberto Guillelmo got the match started through his kick off. Maderas's Leandro Cresencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Guillelmo in the 4th minute of play. Leandro Cresencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Filiberto Guillelmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Cresencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 16 minutes, Alfredo Piorno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maderas and the Drabble players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maderas's Alfredo Piorno got a free kick in the 16th minute. Leandro Cresencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Baumar in the 17th minute of play. In the 25th minute Drabble were awarded a corner. Astor Errolan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Maderas's goalie and right to Benigno Rexino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Maderas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Gergori during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maderas's Atilano Gergori got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Edgardo Baumar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Cresencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Guillelmo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Drabble's Denis Rolado got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Drabble's goalkeeper Christian Theodore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Salomon. When Denis Rolado fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drabble's protests and gave Denis Rolado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Denis Rolado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Maderas's Fernando Iraunkor in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drabble's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Iraunkor made a kick off. Fernando Iraunkor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Christian Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Gergori hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Edgardo Baumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 minutes, Silverio Intxixu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maderas and the Drabble players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Maderas getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Silverio Intxixu hit a great ball. Leandro Cresencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Guillelmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Maderas's Atilano Gergori got a free kick in the 65th minute. Edgardo Baumar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leandro Cresencio came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgardo Baumar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 72nd minute. Filiberto Guillelmo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Leandro Cresencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drabble. Edgardo Baumar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 80th playminute. Flavio Salomon struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Christian Theodore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maderas. Denis Rolado hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Fernando Iraunkor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maderas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Iraunkor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Drabble supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Drabble would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
