After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Arturo Mon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmar's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Mon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Mon to make the kick off. Palmar's Omar Loreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Matthew in the 55th minute of play. Omar Loreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Matthew in the 57th minute of play. Aureliano Estebe hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Vinicio Hever was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Marcial Sendoa's late challenge caught a Palmar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcial Sendoa helped the player get up and apologised. Marcial Sendoa kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 100th minute Claudio Matthew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Loreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Palmar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mendoza.
