In the 26thth minute of the game Serafino Javiero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gorina FC's Baldomiro Lia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 28 played minutes, Erize AFC's Ubaldo Refugio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baldomiro Lia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Erize AFC reached it. In the 33rd match minute, Gorina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Lando to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Lia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benicio Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Quexal having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Froilan Orlin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
