Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Apolo Toro made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes of play, Escalante AFC's Apolo Toro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Rozarius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristides Lauaxeta struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Fulgencio Ubarna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvear. In the 9th minute Arnoldo Itzaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Ubarna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Toro hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Apolo Toro fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Escalante AFC's protests and gave Apolo Toro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Escalante AFC's Moises Gartxot got a free kick in the 24th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Alvear's Fidel Fidele tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aristides Lauaxeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Ubarna having to interfere. If Arnoldo Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Ubarna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Itzaina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Mancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Rozarius came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Escalante AFC's Apolo Toro. But to his dismay, Apolo Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Alvear booed when Escalante AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Roberto Duardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvear's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escalante AFC the free kick. Roberto Duardo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Itzaina scored 2-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulgencio Ubarna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Escalante AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
