In the 3rd minute Jorge Mattin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Tximitx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Maties received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celso Bermudo came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristo Maties slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Wilfredo Kimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Bastian having to interfere. In the 17th minute Gervasio Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Cristo Maties was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corralito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uspallata the free kick. After 31 played minutes Corralito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Maties. Gervasio Tximitx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Victorino Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Tximitx in the 35th minute of play forced Corralito AFC's goalkeeper Victorino Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Corralito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Tximitx came free, but Victorino Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Kimetz made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Uspallata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Papo to maneuver through the defense. Segundo Florian missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 56 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Celso Bermudo right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Quintyn in the 63rd minute of play forced Uspallata's goalkeeper Celso Bermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Uspallata getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Melquiades Ferman hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Alberto Quintyn notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Uspallata's Celso Bermudo. Celso Bermudo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Uspallata's zone, Cristo Maties stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Bermudo came out of the goal and Cristo Maties tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Uspallata's Leonides Danel got a free kick in the 80th minute. Uspallata's Celso Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Quintyn in the 86th minute of play. Alberto Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Celso Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uspallata's Celso Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Maties in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Gervasio Tximitx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uspallata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Gervasio Tximitx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
