Quiñihuao AFC were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Vinalito AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fausto Irrintzi took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Vinalito AFC's goalie and right to Alejandro Rufio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vinalito AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 9 played minutes Vinalito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Segio. When Quiñihuao AFC's Dionisio Barros in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vinalito AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Honorato Peter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Geofredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Quiñihuao AFC. Fausto Irrintzi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ladislao Iztal. 0-1. Alejandro Rufio's late challenge caught a Vinalito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Rufio helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Vinalito AFC's Amador Alvarez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Angelo Geofredo. After having played for 32 minutes, Narciso Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiñihuao AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Mannie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionisio Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Iztal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Quiñihuao AFC's Alejandro Rufio got a free kick in the 38th minute. Angelo Geofredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Marko in the 41st minute. Honorato Peter struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Angelo Geofredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinalito AFC. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dionisio Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Barros in the 52nd minute of play forced Vinalito AFC's goalkeeper Ladislao Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Marko in the 74th minute of the match. Arnoldo Marko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quiñihuao AFC's Angelo Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Marko in the 79th minute of play. Narciso Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Iztal having to interfere. If Dionisio Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Narciso Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quiñihuao AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Mannie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislao Iztal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
