Saul Tibalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Orosmayo's Ariel Ranolfo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Rigoberto Bertol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Prudencio Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Laurentzi in the 44th minute of play forced Orosmayo's goalkeeper Fernan Gentza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Urbano Eduino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prudencio Laurentzi made a kick off. Fernan Gentza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Prospero Joanes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 63rd playminute. Prudencio Laurentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Saul Tibalt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orosmayo's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Tibalt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 85th minute, Teobaldo Lander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Villaguay FC's zone, Ciriaco Garin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Bertol came out of the goal and Ciriaco Garin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Hodei, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Laurentzi in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernan Gentza saved Orosmayo from getting behind. When Pascual Lander fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orosmayo's protests and gave Pascual Lander a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Villaguay FC a penalty, 101 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Angel Rumaldo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Orosmayo's Fernan Gentza. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Villaguay FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
