The referee ignored Sanagasta FC's protests and gave Ramiro Ilixo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Perrugorría AFC booed when Sanagasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Lisandro Jaunzuria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Lisandro Jaunzuria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perrugorría AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Jaunzuria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Jaunzuria in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernan Eudoxio saved Sanagasta FC from getting behind. Cayetano Tino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Freddy Berdoi made a huge save. If Cayetano Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Lisandro Jaunzuria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernan Eudoxio was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Jaunzuria in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Eudoxio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Lisandro Jaunzuria put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fernan Eudoxio. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
