After having played for 4 minutes, Ruben Soter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaona AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Soter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Soter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Irrintzi having to interfere. In the 7thth minute of the game Prudencio Mambru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chorrillos's Leopoldo Irrintzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Aquilino Gar fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorrillos's protests and gave Aquilino Gar a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Chorrillos got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Gar. Prudencio Mambru struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Leopoldo Irrintzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaona AFC. Evaristo Porfiro charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Porfiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Mambru in the 17th minute of play forced Chorrillos's goalkeeper Leopoldo Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Mambru was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 20th minute of the match Alfredo Giro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomero Hermelando skillfully saved the ball. Eulalio Gurutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Aldo Elizardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Hermelando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Soter succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. A collision led to Gaona AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Conrado Orlondo hit a great ball. Baldomero Hermelando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Gurutz in the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Aldo Elizardo made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Paulo Sauveur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaona AFC and the Chorrillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Paulo Sauveur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Mambru in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Irrintzi saved Chorrillos from getting behind. After some careless play in the Chorrillos defense, Ruben Soter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Irrintzi. The Chorrillos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Irrintzi should have stopped the shot. Paulo Sauveur got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 63rd match minute, Gaona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Gurutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Baldomero Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Gaona AFC's Baldomero Hermelando got control of the ball when Eulalio Gurutz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Gaona AFC's goalkeeper Baldomero Hermelando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Gurutz.
