Arsenio Bide struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Wilfredo Nikola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herradura. After a defensive mix-up in Herradura's zone, David Abecia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Lawrence came out of the goal and David Abecia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Ruy during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Arsenio Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vinicio Ruy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Nikola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Quinto in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Quinto was the one to do the kick off. Julio Nisio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Pozuelos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Peruxu came free, but Wilfredo Nikola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Guaberto Peruxu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pozuelos AFC's Wilfredo Nikola. Gaspar Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Wilfredo Nikola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Erasto in the 71st minute of play forced Herradura's goalkeeper Eleuterio Lawrence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eleuterio Lawrence stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Bidun's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Eleuterio Lawrence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Bidun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Vinicio Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Guaberto Peruxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herradura's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Peruxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Nikola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gaspar Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Herradura's goalkeeper Eleuterio Lawrence had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulino Erasto. After 91 played minutes Pozuelos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Bidun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Peruxu in the 92nd minute of play forced Pozuelos AFC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Nikola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Gaspar Quinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilfredo Nikola was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pozuelos AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Herradura.
