In the 28th minute, Ivan Playo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Julio Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnulfo Balendin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Julio Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Casomiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Astor Casomiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Astor Casomiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Pinto. Mármol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Casomiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Severino Dei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Millano in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Mármol got a corner. Jeppener FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogelio Eron ran over to the corner to take the kick. Enzo Goren struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Julio Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jeppener FC. Cirilo Millano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Dei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Astor Casomiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Jeppener FC's zone, Cirilo Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Dei came out of the goal and Cirilo Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54thth minute of the game Astor Casomiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mármol's Julio Pinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cirilo Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Pacorro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Mármol's Julio Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Casomiro in the 66th minute of play. Ivan Playo in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Pinto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Severino Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Frasco in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Frasco in the 75th minute of play forced Jeppener FC's goalkeeper Severino Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Millano in the 86th minute of play forced Jeppener FC's goalkeeper Severino Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Basilio Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Casomiro's late challenge caught a Mármol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Casomiro helped the player get up and apologised. Astor Casomiro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Jeppener FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jeppener FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
