Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Saverio Costante made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Costante in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Montay saved Sanavirones from getting behind. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sanavirones's goalkeeper Melquiades Montay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 13 minutes, Armando Corderun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanavirones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Corderun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Jimeno Danel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanavirones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rescate AFC the free kick. Melquiades Montay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saverio Costante went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jimeno Danel was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Sanavirones's Jimeno Danel got a free kick in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Sanavirones's Gregorio Urtats got a free kick in the 26th minute. The long shot by Patricio Odon in the 27th minute really tested Melquiades Montay's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ivan Vedillo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes, Juan Estebano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sanavirones and the Rescate AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Sanavirones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Estebano to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Sanavirones's Melquiades Montay got control of the ball when Enrique Eder tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorio Ralondo during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dionisio Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sanavirones's Dionisio Phelipe got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Ovando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionisio Phelipe in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Eder in the 63rd minute of play forced Sanavirones's goalkeeper Melquiades Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Enrique Eder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Dionisio Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanavirones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Phelipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Ovando came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Sanavirones's Gregorio Urtats. But to his dismay, Gregorio Urtats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Costante in the 73rd minute of play forced Sanavirones's goalkeeper Melquiades Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Montay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Costante in the 84th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Saverio Costante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Montay. Sanavirones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Costante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 87 minutes into the match, Enrique Eder notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Sanavirones's Melquiades Montay. Melquiades Montay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Melquiades Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Costante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Eder might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Montay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Eder ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sanavirones's goalkeeper Melquiades Montay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Enrique Eder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sanavirones's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
