Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fernando Shepherd made the kick off and thus started the match. Melo's Lino Frascuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Tono in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quebrada FC's goalkeeper Leo Fraco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrada FC's zone, Fernando Shepherd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Fraco came out of the goal and Fernando Shepherd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Romelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rene Tono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 minutes, Camilo Cordairo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melo and the Quebrada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Melo's Camilo Cordairo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Cipriano Romelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Fraco having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Cipriano Romelio could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Leo Fraco however easily saved by the left post. Rene Tono took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Frascuelo. Lino Frascuelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Romelio got free with Leo Fraco in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute, Camilo Cordairo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Diego Shepherd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quebrada FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Melo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! A well done corner resulted in Rene Tono drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Melo's goalkeeper. After the first half Quebrada FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Tono to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Melo's Claudio Tadzio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Quebrada FC's Narciso Cedro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lino Frascuelo but with some difficulty. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Lino Frascuelo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lino Frascuelo came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Quebrada FC's Rene Tono. But to his dismay, Rene Tono quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Tono in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Frascuelo saved Melo from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Orlando Lonzo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cipriano Romelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Fraco having to interfere. Benigno Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lino Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Tono, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Tono in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Frascuelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes in the game, Rene Tono fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lino Frascuelo having to interfere. Cipriano Romelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Leo Fraco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
