Godofredo Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Isidro Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 10 minutes, Efrain Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panaholma AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Eron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Efrain Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panaholma AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Balesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Ciceron charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmacio Balesio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dalmacio Balesio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efrain Eron went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Nestor Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Benat, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Efrain Eron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Balesio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efrain Eron was the one to do the kick off. Nestor Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Benat in the 52nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Panaholma AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Volcán FC:s goal. Leandro Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Tajo having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Mateo Frasquito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Volcán FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panaholma AFC the free kick. A collision led to Volcán FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mateo Frasquito hit a great ball. If Gavino Manilan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Leandro Benat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Tajo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Dalmacio Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Eron in the 87th minute of play. Nestor Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Manilan in the 90th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gavino Manilan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Tajo was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
