Jimeno Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 8 minutes, Edgardo Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espeleta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Benino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute Antonio Eguen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Kiliz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Espeleta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Jaunti to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st of the match, Antonio Eguen tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Alvaro Frascuelo got in the way and made a wonderful save. Alvaro Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Eguen in the 22nd minute of play. Jimeno Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jimeno Inko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Leon Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Espeleta's Tomás Palben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Inko in the 32nd minute of play. Jimeno Inko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Palben having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Leon Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espeleta's Tomás Palben was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Quilino during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Virgilio Quilino kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Edgardo Benino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Pintos's Marciano Galsino tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Inko in the 43rd minute of play forced Espeleta's goalkeeper Tomás Palben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Palben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Leon Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Palben read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Eguen to strike the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Inko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tomás Palben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Espeleta's zone, Jimeno Inko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Palben came out of the goal and Jimeno Inko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the game, Guaberto Gabrio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pintos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espeleta the free kick. After 60 played minutes Pintos got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Gabrio. Espeleta's Antonio Eguen got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute Leon Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Palben saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Eguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alvaro Frascuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pintos getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Bruno Hegoi hit a great ball. Tomás Palben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Vidal in the 76th minute of play. Jimeno Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antonio Eguen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Vidal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
