After 11 played minutes Retamal FC got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Ihazintu. After 12 played minutes, Huyamampa FC's Emanuel Vincente shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Luke came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Huyamampa FC reached it. Retamal FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Octavio Odon 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Samuel Ubelteso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Luke having to make a save. After having played for 24 minutes, Samuel Ubelteso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huyamampa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Ubelteso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Retamal FC's Jonathan Luke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Retamal FC from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the game, Uriel Goyo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Tadeo Orain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Serafo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Huyamampa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Serafo came free, but Tadeo Orain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Huyamampa FC booed when Retamal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Valerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Goyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Orain having to interfere. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huyamampa FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Orain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Segundo Veto charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segundo Veto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huyamampa FC! Felipe Valerio walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Elpidio Serafo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tadeo Orain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Ubelteso in the 74th minute of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Retamal FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Luke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
