Vertientes AFC's Leopoldo Baleren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Astigar in the 29th minute of play. Concepción's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Aristides Savier scored to the left of an out of position Venancio Jago, making the score, 2-1. Tadeo Baudelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Jago having to interfere. Venancio Jago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Savier, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute, Jeremias Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After having played for 59 minutes, Aristides Savier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 65 minutes of play, Vertientes AFC's Aristides Savier made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venancio Jago was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Concepción's Gaston Ponciano got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to Concepción getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Esteve Dunixi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Concepción's zone, Genaro Sasoin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Jago came out of the goal and Genaro Sasoin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venancio Jago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Savier in the 80th minute of play. Aristides Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, one of Vertientes AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vertientes AFC.
