Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Froilan Lucian got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Paso's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Lucian came free, but Denis Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 played minutes Paso got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Pasqual. A collision led to Pueblo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Filiberto Criston hit a great ball. Paso's Denis Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Lucian in the 17th minute of play. Alfonso Abastas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Denis Romo. Paso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Pueblo getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Froilan Lucian hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes, Paso's Eduardo Piearres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Laureano Fernendo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paso reached it. Denis Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Lucian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play, Pueblo's Bernardino Javiar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Romo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, Santiago Estevez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Laureano Fernendo. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Estevez in the 38th minute of play forced Pueblo's goalkeeper Laureano Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Javiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Romo having to interfere. The supporters of Pueblo booed when Paso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Pasqual didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 minutes Paso's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfonso Abastas who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pueblo's Alfonso Abastas to fire away a dangerous shot which Denis Romo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Santiago Estevez made the kick off in the second half. Santiago Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Laureano Fernendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pueblo's Laureano Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Estevez in the 61st minute of play. Horacio Maties recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Pueblo's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Estevez came free, but Laureano Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Paso's Reynaldo Pasqual got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 75th minute, Filiberto Criston reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Denis Romo. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 84th minute, Hugo Txema had to leave the field with a concussion. When Lázaro Gau fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paso's protests and gave Lázaro Gau a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardino Javiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Denis Romo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Horacio Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Fernendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Santiago Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Laureano Fernendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Horacio Maties notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Pueblo's Laureano Fernendo. Laureano Fernendo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
