Ruben Laurentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Javiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Pueblo's Froilan Lucian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Laurentzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 27th minute of the match Generoso Cordarrol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Laurentzi skillfully saved the ball. Bernardino Javiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Laurentzi having to interfere. Perdido's Ruben Laurentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Lucian in the 35th minute of play. Ruben Laurentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Lucian, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ruben Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Lucian in the 39th minute of the match. Filiberto Criston's late challenge caught a Perdido's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Munio in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Laureano Fernendo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 44 played minutes Pueblo got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Canor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Peli in the 45th minute of play forced Pueblo's goalkeeper Laureano Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perdido's Jose Munio got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Froilan Lucian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Lucian in the 52nd minute of play forced Perdido's goalkeeper Ruben Laurentzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Pueblo's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Jerrold came free, but Laureano Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pueblo getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Filiberto Criston hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pueblo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
