After a defensive mix-up in Oetling AFC's zone, Patricio Estevon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Olando came out of the goal and Patricio Estevon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Amadeo Olando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Estevon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Guzmán AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 44th match minute, Guzmán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Eate to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes Guzmán AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomás Pacifico who took care of the corner kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorio Bizen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Valentine in the 57th minute of play forced Guzmán AFC's goalkeeper Herminio Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Eate got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Guzmán AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Esteve Eate hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvio Xabel got free with Herminio Vellito in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elvio Xabel came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Herminio Vellito could save by the left post. In the 70th match minute, Guzmán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Burni to maneuver through the defense. Nicasio Valentine received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Herminio Vellito came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicasio Valentine slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 71st minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guzmán AFC's goalkeeper Herminio Vellito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge James's late challenge caught a Oetling AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge James helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Guzmán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge James to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Xabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Vellito having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Guzmán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Estevon. Herminio Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Valentine in the 97th minute of the match. Patricio Estevon charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Estevon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oetling AFC's Elvio Xabel got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Guzmán AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Oetling AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Oetling AFC.
