Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Olaeta's Gogo Geleberto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Gogo Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Escoya FC's Matias Restu got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Jago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Albino Fagondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ignacio Chuse managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Escoya FC's Dionisio Ricart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Camilo Lia charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Lia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Camilo Lia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Chuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Restu in the 22nd minute of the match. Matias Restu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ignacio Chuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Olaeta got a freekick which was hit by Albino Fagondo. 41 minutes into the game, Escoya FC's Dionisio Ricart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ignacio Chuse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gogo Geleberto took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prospero Maura. Prospero Maura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Restu to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Matias Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Chuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaeta's Ignacio Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Ricart in the 56th minute of play. Dionisio Ricart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Chuse having to interfere. Matias Restu struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ignacio Chuse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escoya FC. Dionisio Ricart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignacio Chuse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Restu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Prospero Maura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Matias Restu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Olaeta's Ignacio Chuse. Ignacio Chuse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olaeta's Ignacio Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Restu in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Olaeta's zone, Matias Restu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Chuse came out of the goal and Matias Restu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Dionisio Ricart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignacio Chuse. Olaeta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Ricart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ariel Porfirio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Prospero Maura made a huge save. Escoya FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
