Palmitas's Romeo Curcio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Palmitas from getting a goal against them. Amadeo Laurgain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Rayman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Balesio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ignacio Vigil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Joaquin Rayman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Ignacio Vigil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Rayman. Aranguren FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Vigil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Amadeo Laurgain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Romeo Curcio made a huge save. Eleuterio Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Amadeo Laurgain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aranguren FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Laurgain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Curcio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eleuterio Enol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Rayman having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aranguren FC's zone, Ignacio Vigil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Rayman came out of the goal and Ignacio Vigil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Aranguren FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Enol came free, but Joaquin Rayman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Enol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Rayman having to interfere. The Aranguren FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palmitas were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Vigil made a kick off. Romeo Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Bemabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Romeo Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Laurgain in the 63rd minute of the match. Aranguren FC's Joaquin Rayman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Vigil in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Aranguren FC booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eleuterio Enol came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Palmitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Enol couldn't finish the play. Eleuterio Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ignacio Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Enol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Joaquin Rayman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 92 played minutes Aranguren FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Bemabe. The tension between the Palmitas and the Aranguren FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Fabio Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Palmitas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
