The referee ignored Naranjito's protests and gave Gilberto Bladi a yellow card for diving instead. Gilberto Bladi kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Elvio Montxo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Baltasar Maureo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Naranjito getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gilberto Bladi hit a great ball. Ivan Corderall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Roldan in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Serafino Benvido suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Marcelino Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Maureo having to interfere. Punua's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Marcelino Eutropio scored to the left of an out of position Baltasar Maureo, making the score, 2-0. With a little luck, Punua's Baltasar Maureo got control of the ball when Elvio Montxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The attack was good, but when Matias Paskal in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Punua's Daniel Cucao got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Bladi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Baltasar Maureo made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Baltasar Maureo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Baltasar Maureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelino Eutropio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matias Paskal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Corderall having to interfere. A collision led to Naranjito getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fausto Odon hit a great ball. Elvio Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Baltasar Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Eutropio in the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Paskal got free with Ivan Corderall in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naranjito's Marcelino Eutropio got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltasar Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Montxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Punua's Benigno Roldan got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 75 minutes, Benigno Roldan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Punua and the Naranjito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Benigno Roldan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Elvio Berenguer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Naranjito the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Punua:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Naranjito:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Eutropio in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Maureo saved Punua from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Elvio Montxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Maureo was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Fausto Odon took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Maureo. Baltasar Maureo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
