Jorge Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Tano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Koldobika, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Leopoldo Hernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Hernandez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Correra getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Leopoldo Hernandez hit a great ball. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Correra's goalkeeper Romulo Tano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Reynaldo Quin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Nicolas Oriol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ripamonti AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Correra the free kick. A collision led to Ripamonti AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nicolas Oriol hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Leopoldo Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Correra's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Gauargi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Ripamonti AFC's Mateo Koldobika dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 37 minutes of play, Ripamonti AFC's Leopoldo Ferran made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Tano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 42 minutes, Leopoldo Ferran made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Correra's Romulo Tano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateo Koldobika to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Reynaldo Quin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ripamonti AFC and the Correra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reynaldo Quin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jorge Gauargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Oliveiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adan Fidele hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ripamonti AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Adan Fidele hit a great ball. If Hugo Oliveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Eugenio Nicholas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Correra booed when Ripamonti AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Nicholas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Jorge Gauargi managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Correra's Leopoldo Hernandez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st minute, Leopoldo Ferran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Tano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Mateo Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Tano having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Leopoldo Ferran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ripamonti AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Ferran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Koldobika in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Tano saved Correra from getting behind. Romulo Tano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Ferran in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Ripamonti AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
