With a little luck, Hunter AFC's Arnaldo Abadia got control of the ball when Anibal Arlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Hunter AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Aureo came free, but Arnaldo Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Haritzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Gartzen in the 15th minute of play. Paulino Haritzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Jakobe might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulino Haritzeder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anastasio Jakobe ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnaldo Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Aureo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Leandro Polentzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascual Terciero hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Anastasio Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cabred AFC's zone, Ovidio Gartzen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Haritzeder came out of the goal and Ovidio Gartzen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pascual Terciero came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cabred AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Terciero couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Abadia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Aureo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. If Pascual Terciero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidio Gartzen to make the kick off. Anibal Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Arnaldo Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cabred AFC's Pascual Terciero got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Cabred AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Tebaldo. Nicasio Tebaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Gartzen in the 71st minute of play forced Cabred AFC's goalkeeper Paulino Haritzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Gartzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Severino Aureo sped through Hunter AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnaldo Abadia. In the 89th match minute, Cabred AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Tebaldo to maneuver through the defense. Anastasio Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Arlo scored 2-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Abadia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cabred AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
