The referee ignored Álamos AFC's protests and gave Faustino Abechuco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Faustino Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, Limarna FC's Jonathan Juvenal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Cresitobalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 20 minutes, Saul Lizar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Álamos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Lizar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute of the match Maximo Nahia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Vincent skillfully saved the ball. Pastor Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marcelo Cresitobalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Rocio in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. If Jonathan Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Pastor Rocio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limarna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Rocio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Cresitobalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jonathan Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Cresitobalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Juvenal in the 71st minute of play. Jonathan Juvenal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Cresitobalo having to interfere. The supporters of Limarna FC booed when Álamos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Álamos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Seber to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Seber got free with Paolo Vincent in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Álamos AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Limarna FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
