A collision led to Chucuma getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Isaias Tello hit a great ball. Aristides Chorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Denis Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Corderun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Chivilcoy AFC booed when Chucuma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Garaile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Gergori in the 28th minute of play. Leonides Sandaili's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Garaile read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Siro Camerino hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Leonides Sandaili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Chivilcoy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Sandaili came free, but Alfredo Garaile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Boniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Boniel having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonides Sandaili to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Leonel Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Garaile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Santxol, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Chorache got free with Denis Boniel in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the match, Chivilcoy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Santxol came free, but Alfredo Garaile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Santxol in the 71st minute of play forced Chivilcoy AFC's goalkeeper Alfredo Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Chivilcoy AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Aaron Machado hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes, Chucuma's Pablo Haritz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfredo Garaile came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chucuma reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Anaya during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Chivilcoy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Anaya to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Chucuma's Ramon Santxol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Garaile narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ramon Santxol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chucuma's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Santxol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chivilcoy AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Corderun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Arsenio Corderun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Leonides Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
