The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Erroman during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Florentino Austin's late challenge caught a Chabela AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Austin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chabela AFC booed when Romang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Saverio Gonchan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romang's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Gonchan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelio Restu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horacio Txatxu. Chabela AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 27th minute Saverio Gonchan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chabela AFC's Horacio Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Gonchan in the 30th minute of play. Horacio Txatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Blai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Unai struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ricardo Abadia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chabela AFC. Romang's Saverio Gonchan got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Unai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Lorenzo Unai came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Chabela AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Unai couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Romang's zone, Lorenzo Unai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Abadia came out of the goal and Lorenzo Unai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Chabela AFC's Faustino Pierres got a free kick in the 58th minute. Horacio Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Gonchan in the 59th minute of play. Chabela AFC's Horacio Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Gonchan in the 61st minute of play. In the 68th minute, Lorenzo Unai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Isusko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Abadia was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. If Gabriel Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Unai in the 91st minute of play forced Romang's goalkeeper Ricardo Abadia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Arnoldo Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Generoso Blai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Txatxu having to make a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Romang walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
