After having played for 17 minutes, Arnulfo Florin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Florin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernan Lucero was a little too slow when Benigno Jaen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Eugenio Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fernan Lucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benigno Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Jaen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Lucero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Benigno Jaen struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Fernan Lucero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raco FC. If Arnulfo Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Dolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Efraim during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Froilan Kimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Dolfo having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 70 played minutes Cipriano Macerio rounded Raco FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Constantino Efraim was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 75 minutes, Arnulfo Florin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raco FC and the Mocoví players grew even worse after the yellow card.
