Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Verna's Ramon Balendin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victorio Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Louis in the 14th minute of play. Verna's Hernan Elorri got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramon Balendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Lleir having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Carmelo Estevez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fracrau the free kick. A collision led to Verna getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. If Ramon Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th minute, Ermegildo Louis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victorio Honrio. The goal made the score 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Louis in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorio Honrio saved Verna from getting behind. The supporters of Verna booed when Fracrau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Corderro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Hernan Elorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Nicanor Toli made a precise shot to the right of Victorio Honrio. Verna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Verna's Bernardino Garcia got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fracrau eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
