Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alejo Macario started the match with the kick off. Tortugas were furious when Teofilo Eneto was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Tortugas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tulumba:s goal. Blas Botello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Frances, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Macario took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Eguntsenti. Marco Eguntsenti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Santo Asur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Marco Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Macario was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 23 played minutes Tulumba got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Felo. Ignacio Berbiz's late challenge caught a Tortugas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Berbiz helped the player get up and apologised. Ignacio Berbiz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Rolando Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tortugas's Marco Eguntsenti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Macario in the 32nd minute of play. Rolando Leoncio charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Leoncio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Tortugas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Leoncio to maneuver through the defense. If Americo Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute of the match, Alejo Macario tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marco Eguntsenti saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Americo Bizen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alejo Macario made a precise shot to the right of Marco Eguntsenti. Tortugas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Tortugas's Rolando Leoncio got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Tulumba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Berbiz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tulumba booed when Tortugas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Hechter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Eguntsenti came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Tulumba's Santo Asur. But to his dismay, Santo Asur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Santo Asur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Eguntsenti having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Tulumba's Santo Asur made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Eguntsenti was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tulumba had won after a very even match.
