Ariel Charro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Tximitx in the 4th minute of the match. Andres Rumaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ariel Charro made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ubaldo Roderigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rinconadillas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Roderigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Betadur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rinconadillas AFC's Fulgencio Seguinus got a free kick in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Santo Goyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rinconadillas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herrera AFC the free kick. In the 11th minute, Santo Goyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Herrera AFC's Arnaldo Peruxu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fulgencio Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubaldo Roderigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Betadur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubaldo Roderigo ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 32 minutes, Ubaldo Roderigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rinconadillas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Roderigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Rumaldo got free with Ariel Charro in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andres Rumaldo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Ariel Charro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Andres Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Charro having to interfere. Isidoro Tximitx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ariel Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ubaldo Roderigo to make the kick off. Luciano Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Abelardo Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Luciano Medardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Abelardo Betadur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Rumaldo in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Charro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, Isaias Dayam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Charro. Rinconadillas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Dayam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 69 minutes, Anibal Matteo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rinconadillas AFC and the Herrera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anibal Matteo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Isaias Dayam didn't quite understand what happened when in the 71 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Raul Danel's late challenge caught a Rinconadillas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Danel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Raul Danel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Abelardo Betadur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 83rd minute, Ubaldo Roderigo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abelardo Betadur, passed just outside the right post. Abelardo Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Roderigo in the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubaldo Roderigo in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Betadur saved Herrera AFC from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rinconadillas AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Herrera AFC.
