The supporters of Rinconadillas AFC booed when Paraná was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Cilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the Rinconadillas AFC and the Paraná players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Rinconadillas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Urdin to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Ricardo Rameriz made the kick off in the second half. When Santo Goyo fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rinconadillas AFC's protests and gave Santo Goyo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Ubaldo Roderigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraná's Edelmiro Poz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Roderigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Poz was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the game, Rinconadillas AFC's Ubaldo Roderigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
