The supporters of Mercedes AFC booed when Tumanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Ildefonso Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercedes AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Brion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anibal Oinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Odilon, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ildefonso Brion made the kick off in the second half. Mercedes AFC's Ildefonso Brion got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Gorka notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mercedes AFC's Anibal Oinaz. Anibal Oinaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute, Lino Romo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes Mercedes AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Ezkerra who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Ezkerra made a great header on Tumanas's corner, it was just that Mercedes AFC's Anibal Oinaz managed to reach the ball for a save. Anibal Oinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Aldo Estevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mercedes AFC's zone, Mauricio Odilon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 75th minute Tiburcio Gorka suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Lino Romo charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Romo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tumanas booed when Mercedes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Romo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aldo Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Tumanas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Estevez couldn't finish the play. If Ildefonso Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Hurko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Camerino in the 91st minute. Ildefonso Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Egoi during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
