Nazareno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Llanos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Drysdale's Joaquin Sustrai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Loren in the 85th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
