Marco Camerino struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Joaquin Sustrai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mercedes AFC. Marco Camerino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Sustrai having to interfere. Ildefonso Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Sustrai having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Ildefonso Brion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Camerino hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes of play, Mercedes AFC's Marco Camerino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Sustrai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mercedes AFC's Anibal Oinaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Llanos in the 40th minute of play. Aquilino Fertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Sustrai having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobo Llanos made a kick off. Anibal Oinaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacobo Llanos went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Fertus in the 57th minute of play forced Mercedes AFC's goalkeeper Anibal Oinaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Camerino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Joaquin Sustrai made a huge save. Joaquin Sustrai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Brion in the 66th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Sergio Mano put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mercedes AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Drysdale. Gilberto Gauargi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anibal Oinaz. 2-1. Marco Camerino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Drysdale's zone, Marco Camerino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Sustrai came out of the goal and Marco Camerino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Abeijon hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Marco Camerino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Joaquin Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Oinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Fertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Marco Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercedes AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Camerino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Drysdale's Joaquin Sustrai got control of the ball when Marco Camerino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquin Sustrai came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mercedes AFC's Marco Camerino. But to his dismay, Marco Camerino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jacobo Llanos took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Oinaz. Anibal Oinaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Drysdale were victorious despite being under pressure from Mercedes AFC for much of the match.
