In the 3rd minute, Blas Txilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cristo Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tambillo FC's Elias Ederono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Rico in the 7th minute of play. Javier Quilino's late challenge caught a Tambillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Quilino helped the player get up and apologised. Javier Quilino hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Flavio Crescencio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Arnoldo Colon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tambillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Colon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Blas Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturnino Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Colon in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Tambillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Rico came free, but Elias Ederono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Ederono made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvano Ticho in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Colon in the 33rd minute of play forced Manantiales's goalkeeper Saturnino Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Blas Txilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Blas Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Berto charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Berto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Cristo Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristo Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Blas Txilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Rico to make the kick off. Elias Ederono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Rico in the 52nd minute of play. Blas Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Astigar having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Arnoldo Colon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Colon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvano Ticho took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Ederono. Elias Ederono dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 88 played minutes Arnoldo Colon rounded Manantiales's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Blas Txilar struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Saturnino Astigar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tambillo FC. Manantiales were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tambillo FC for a fine match.
