With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Velasco in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Montae saved Garuhapé FC from getting behind. When Mariano Salbatore came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Garuhapé FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Salbatore couldn't finish the play. Garuhapé FC's Dionisio Montae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Ignado in the 19th minute of play. Hipolito Bermund charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hipolito Bermund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Garuhapé FC booed when Saira AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Belarmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Arsenio Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Dionisio Montae. Garuhapé FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Godofredo Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Tello in the 38th minute of play forced Saira AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Oliverios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Godofredo Ignado came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Saira AFC fans jumped to their feet. The audience was convinced that Mariano Salbatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Oliverios was relentless in the 70th minute of the game.
